The Ladder Swagger Story

While working and carrying ladders at job sites for over twenty years, and having countless bouts of sore fingers, shoulders and back, I decided something needed to be done about the relatively simple, but strenuous, act of carrying a stepladder.

I thought there would have been something in the market to facilitate this but found that it was a problem that was waiting to be solved. So I gave it some thought, worked up a simple prototype and realized I was onto something.

When further research was carried out, it was discovered that there had been some attempts to solve it in the past. But those solutions were overthought, overdesigned, and obviously didn’t make it to the marketplace.

I knew at that point, the Ladder Swagger solution was what people needed.

Ladder Swagger is a simple ergonomic solution that is a removable handle with no moving parts, for carrying a stepladder single-handedly with ease while eliminating hand fatigue and discomfort, and improving posture.
